Story: Rockabilly boss Jimmy Jayne (Devon Sawa), with a scar on his fist, was last seen entertaining a woman in a hotel bar and is implicated in the gruesome murders of four Hollywood stars found dead in a dimly lit motel. Jimmy becomes the prime suspect in homicide detectives Freeman (Bruce Willis) and Vargas (Luke Wilson), and embarks on his own investigation to bend the law and clear his name in ways the police can't.
